The Road to IPBL qualification pathway applies only to the premier open singles categories at designated Pickleball Now Grand Prix events. These categories may be titled differently at different events but must be recognised by the organisers as the equivalent premier open category, including, but not limited to:
The winner of the eligible men’s category and the winner of the eligible women’s category at each designated Road to IPBL Grand Prix event will be considered for selection to the IPBL Auction/Draft.
Winning a Road to IPBL Grand Prix event does not guarantee a place in the IPBL Auction/Draft or selection into the Indian Pickleball League (IPBL).
From all eligible city winners across the six (6) designated Road to IPBL Grand Prix events, a maximum of six (6) players will be selected for the IPBL Auction/Draft. The combination of male and female players within the six (6) selected players shall be determined solely by the IPBL Organising Committee or its nominee.
The final selection of players for the IPBL Auction/Draft shall be made solely by the IPBL Organising Committee or its nominee. Selection shall be at its absolute discretion and may consider factors including, but not limited to, sporting merit, player rankings, tournament performances, eligibility, and any other criteria deemed relevant.
No reason for selection or non-selection shall be provided. The decision of the IPBL Organising Committee or its nominee shall be final and binding, and no correspondence, review, or appeal shall be entertained.
All players selected for the IPBL Auction/Draft must execute the prescribed IPBL Player Agreement before their name is entered into the Auction/Draft.
The terms of the Player Agreement shall be final and binding and shall not be subject to negotiation or amendment. A selected player may choose not to execute the Player Agreement, in which case the player shall not be included in the IPBL Auction/Draft or Auction Pool.
Selection for the IPBL Auction/Draft does not guarantee inclusion in an IPBL franchise team. Final participation in the league is subject to franchise bidding, drafting, auction outcomes, and the applicable league regulations.
Selected players must comply with all eligibility requirements, documentation, registration procedures, and participation criteria prescribed by IPBL in order to remain eligible for the Auction/Draft.
Any player found to have breached tournament rules, the code of conduct, anti-doping regulations, or any eligibility requirements may be disqualified from consideration for the IPBL Auction/Draft.
All decisions of the Pickleball Now and IPBL Organising Committee relating to player eligibility, selection, qualification, participation, and interpretation of these Terms & Conditions shall be final and binding. No correspondence, review, or appeal shall be entertained.
Pickleball Now and IPBL reserve the right to amend, suspend, modify, or withdraw the Road to IPBL qualification process, selection criteria, or these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice, if considered necessary.
